Privacy Policy

GamingFringe values your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website and how it will be used.

No personal information except for an email address must be provided for full access to leave comments on GamingFringe. Any other personal information will only be collected if you submit it to us for unsolicited reasons. Even in such cases, we will not share your personal information to third-parties without your permission for any reason other than legal action which would require us to do so. (However, we make no guarantees that malicious third-parties will not compromise our website and misuse any information provided to us.) We may contact you by email for any reason, but you have no obligation to respond.

GamingFringe records your IP address and stores cookies on your computer. Neither of these contains any personal information. Cookies are small files which record your browsing preferences and history (such as which links you’ve visited), account settings (such as which forum color you prefer), and log-ins (so that you don’t need to enter your username and password every time you visit). An IP address simply identifies your unique Internet connection.

Third-party advertisers on our website, such as Google, may also store cookies which record your browsing history (across many websites) in order to deliver ads relevant to your interests. For more information, please read Google’s own privacy policy, which is independent of ours. Similarly, we do not have any control over websites other than this one, nor does this policy apply to them even if links to them appear on GamingFringe.

We may make changes to our privacy policy at any time. If we do, a notification will be posted on our main page. If you have any questions about this policy, feel free to ask in our forums or post a comment to this page.
